In the Round 3 of the WSK Super Master Series the Team Gamoto-Tony Kart drivers has shown a very great pace in the 60 Mini category at La Conca race track. A six drivers’s line up (Marenghi, Scognamiglio, Tarnvanichkul, Bondarev, Roos and the new entry Dztiev) has fought against the top drivers of the WSK series, being able to catch the top positions of the category. Bad luck for the south african driver Roos who had to give up the event for some pain in the ribs after the qualy. “Rookie race test” for the russian Dztiev, attending for the very first time a race in Europe, who built up a good pace session by session during the racing week end. Great performance for Marenghi and Scognamiglio with Marenghi able to score a very hi level results in the heats but unlucky in the Pre Final (8°) and in the Final (16°). Basically the same bad luck affected Scongnamiglio performances: he ended 20th in the Final after a racing contact. Super pace for the thai driver Tarnvanichkul, forced to retire in the Pre Final but very quick during the whole week end. The best of the best for the italian team this week end has been Bondarev who scored the 9th spot in the 60 Mini Final.
Team Gamoto Tony Kart will come back on track this week end to attend the Trofeo Grifone at Sarno (SA) looking forward the last round of the WSK Super Master Series which will take place at the beginning of April at the same track.
