Drizzling rain has made the second day of the 48th edition of the Trofeo delle Industrie, event organized by Parma Motorsport, more complicated.

A total of 247 drivers completed scrutineering out of the entered 253. They come from 42 different countries and displayed a very high level since qualifying practice, where a lot of them managed to showcase their skills on the wet.

In KZ2 a great driving lesson on the wet was delivered by Lorenzo Giannoni, who was uncatchable on his Sodi-TM run by team CPB Sport. He had the upper hand posting the quickest time overall in 1:02.487s, that was 1.5s faster than the time posted by Manuel Cozzaglio on BirelArt-TM of team VZeta Racing. Giannoni’s team-mate from France Jean Nomblot also posted the fastest time of the second group, which was the overall second at 0.6s to the top. Behind Nomblot in group two, William Lanzeni (CKR-Tm/Team CKR) and the fastest of Friday on the dry Fabian Federer (Maranello-Tm, Team SRP Racing) ended in the order. The Austrian Marcus Funda (GP-Tm, Team Zanchi Motorsport) was also very quick and posted the fifth time overall in 1:04.177s, while Marco Valenti (CRG-Tm, Team CRG) was second in 1:04.358s.

In the two groups of OK-Junior, Cristian Bertuca was the quickest on BirelArt-Tm of team BirelArt in 1:04.676s, time posted in the first group. A very good performance was also put in by Brando Badoer on KR-Iame of Team Driver. He was in fact the quickest of group two in 1:05.350s and was 0.6s shy of Bertuca.

In Minikart, category that saw 71 drivers at the start, qualifying took place in three groups. The quickest was the Russian Kirill Kutskov (Energy-Tm, Team Energy Corse) in 1:13.064s, while Chile’s Nicolas Ambiado (Parolin-Tm, Team AV Racing) was the quickest of group two in 1:13.693s and the Austrian Kiano Blum (Parolin-Tm, Team Driver) went quickest in the third group in 1:13.875s.

In the two groups of X30 Senior, Danny Carenini (Tony Kart-Iame, Team Autoeuropeo) went quickest overall and in group two with a time of 1:06.515s, while Mattia Ingolfo (KR-Iame, Team Driver) went quickest in the first group and was second overall in 1:07.836s.
